Can't find server

Hi new here  Smiley
I have been trying to get your software to work so hopefully I may buy it as it suits my needs.
I downloaded the trial on my friends computer as I want to access her usb ports.
I installed the client version.
Over the phone I asked her to go to www.ipchicken.com and tell me her ip address.
I put it in the client version and it came up but said "unreachable"
So I told her to go to what is my ip and the address was the same.
We are both connected to the internet wireless and through a router.
We disabled firewalls and AV and still no luck  Huh
I'm obviously doing something wrong or am I missing the concept in how the program is supposed to work.

The status "unreachable" means that you cannot access the required tcp port (usb over network uses 33000 by default) even though you can ping both machines. You have already disabled the firewalls but you are behind the router, that's why you need to set up the correct port forwarding. After it everything should work.
