USB clients disconnect after a few days

I've got 2 port installed on a XP SP3 machine.
Port 1 is connected to a USB disk drive.
Port 2 is coonnected to a MultiTech USB Fax Modem.

I connect both devices to a SBS 2008 client which is setup on a esx 4.0i

Problem: After probably around 4 or 5 days the USB modem is not visible on the SBS.
The only way to get the mutlitech modem connected again is to restart the host machine (XP).

What would be causing the usb to disconnect the devices?

Theo,

1. by 2 port you mean you have a 2-device license of USB over network?
2. both devices are connected to the same machine with USB over Network Server?
3. Only Fax Modem fails, or disc drive is not visible after 4or5 days as well?
4. After this happens again, go to C:\WINDOWS\system32\ find usbnetcln-err.log and send us this file, together with a screenshot of the Fabulatech window
5. What is your version of USB over Network?
6. Does the Fax Modem disconnect at any time after 4-5 days, or after it's not been used for a long while?

1. Yes, I have a 2 device license.
2. Yes, both devices are connected to the same machine with USB over Network Server.
3. Yes, only Fax Modem fails. Disk continues to work correctly.
4. Should I clear the log file now? The last time the error occured was yesterday.
5. Version 4.3
6. The modem receives around 10-15 faxes per day. It don't think 24 hours will pass without some use of the modem. Also the disk is only used for backup so that only gets used once a day but does not disconnect.

As soon as the error occurs again I'll send the file and screenshot.

Thanks

I've searched for the file but it doesn't exist on the system.
Have you maybe misspelled the file name?

Theo,

We've identified the problem with Faxes in virtual SBS and are now working on them.
Meanwhile, we're preparing version 4.4. for release, would you like to try it?

Hi,

I've tried version 4.4 that was working well for a couple weeks but now the problem is back again. As soon as I restart the UON server the client devices are disconnected and the Fabulatech Shared USB devices in the device manager have question marks on them.

I've sent some screenshots via mail but I can't find the log file you requested.
